City of Kasson, Minnesota

Kasson Upward 2040

This is an exciting time to be a part of Kasson’s history.  Together, we are shaping the future of our City and making it an even better place to live, work, shop, and play!

The City of Kasson is beginning the process to update the City’s Comprehensive Plan; a long-range plan that will help define and guide the future of our community.  The City last prepared a Comprehensive Plan in 2011.  What is a Comprehensive Plan

To help prepare this plan, the City has hired a professional consulting team with years of experience facilitating community planning processes and preparing comprehensive plans.

Contribute your Ideas, Goals, & Feedback

A key part of the Comprehensive Planning process is engaging the community in a dialogue about the future and enabling the community to weigh in on future directions. Below are multiple avenues and opportunities for the community to be engaged in the process.

Online Community Mapping

To get the most feedback from community members for the Kasson Comprehensive Plan, we launched an online map where Kasson residents, employees, business owners, and visitors contributed their comments about what works in the city today and what needs improving for tomorrow.

Two community workshop events have been held to set the stage for the direction of Kasson Upward 2040. Future events will be listed here when they are determined.
